The double room featured a private bathroom, which is a plus for couples looking for some privacy. The charming decor adds a quaint vibe that many might find appealing, showcasing character that you've got to appreciate.
Single glazing in the bedroom made for a chilly atmosphere in cold weather, with misty windows and noticeable drafts sneaking under the door. Common areas felt frigid despite a stove burning nearby, and if you’re not fond of steep stairs, you might find the climb a bit challenging. The price felt steep for the small size of the room, especially as a solo traveler, and the fading decor leaned more toward shabby than chic. If you're sensitive to noise, sitting outside might not be ideal since conversations drift in easily, and good luck with the tricky door lock.

Cozy room with a lovely view.
My stay was incredibly disappointing. The room I paid £195 for was ridiculously small for a solo traveler and felt more like a closet than a double room. To make matters worse, the decor was faded and shabby, not at all what I expected for that price. The noise from outside was unbearable, and I couldn't even open the windows for fresh air! it was a frustrating experience and absolutely not worth the cost.

The room was cozy, and I loved enjoying tea on the terrace while soaking in that beautiful sunset. Relaxing by the fireplace and taking advantage of the hot tub made for some serious chill time. the decor felt a bit worn down, which was a small letdown but didn't ruin my stay. 🌅

The breakfast was a culinary delight, featuring hearty dishes that even catered for gluten-free pals! Plus, the charming area is perfect for long walks. I can’t rave enough about it. Our bedroom was cozy with a lovely view across the green, making for such a peaceful stay.
I found my small double room a bit steep at £195. The room could've used a makeover, and the occasional chatter from outside didn’t add to the peace. A little more attention to detail would go a long way.
